Job Description

Information Technology InternWhat is iManage UiManage U provides students the chance to experience a dynamic, rapid growth technology company firsthand. iManage will provide a structured program which delivers project-based activities, improved knowledge of business fundamentals, tackling complex problem solving, collaboration, team building, and some fun experiences along the way! This year, our paid internship program will kick-off on Monday, June 2nd and will run through Friday, August 8th.This internship will be based out of our downtown Chicago office, with activities requiring in-person presence.Goals of the Program:

Being an intern on our Information Technology team means.You will be part of the first line of defense for all IT Service Desk related problems. This includes hardware/software issues and deployment, password resolutions, VPN connections, data sync, and in-office conference technologies. You will be a technical expert in system administration for operating systems and hardware. You will use your technical foundation and knowledge to communicate effectively to employees about technical issues and provide resolutions.We are furthermore expanding the candidates personal technical abilities, while empowering a path for continued growth within the technology space.iM Responsible For
  • Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance.
  • Support in-office staff during office hours and in-office events.
  • Responding and triaging incoming service requests and incidents.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the next level and redirect them to the appropriate teams.
  • Providing frontline support for laptops, desktops, printers, mobile devices, and audio/visual technology.
iM Qualified Because I Have
  • Been pursuing a bachelors degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
  • Knowledge of ticketing systems (Fresh Service).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively.
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Zoom, and Microsoft 365 administration, including imaging, deployment, and maintenance.
