• Bachelors degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in coding, developing test methodologies, writing test plans, creating test cases, and debugging.

Preferred qualifications:

• 3 years of experience in specialized testing such as production testing, system integration testing, etc.
• 1 year of experience working in a matrixed organization.
• Experience in utilizing and building test automation to scale and improving efficiency.
• Knowledge or experience in Android system components, interfaces, and protocols, with Mobile App development knowledge.
• Ability to manage projects independently, with potential to influence and engage with cross-functional teams to shape testing culture and project direction.

This includes bringing together the best of Googles software and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.Responsibilities

• Create or improve test automation, adopt or initiate test tools, infrastructure to increase test effectiveness and efficiency.
• Develop test plans based on Product Excellence or test strategy. Conduct test plan reviews with engineers within one or multiple teams.
• Conduct testing and quality analysis effectively per extensive knowledge on functionalities.
• Improve existing test infrastructure or create new test infrastructure to increase efficiency and productivity in test case development, scheduling, or deployment.
• Participate in product design reviews with Product Managers, Software or Hardware Engineers, and other stakeholders to contribute to product design, testability, and implementation.
