35175Motif Design System Developer EngineerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a talented Developer Engineer to join our team and contribute to the Motif Design System The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern frontend frameworks and a passion for building scalable reusable component librariesKey ResponsibilitiesDesign develop and maintain components for the Motif Design System using React or AngularEnsure components are accessible performant and follow best practicesCollaborate with designers and product teams to translate design specifications into functional componentsWrite comprehensive documentation and usage guidelines for design system componentsMaintain and improve the design system architecture and toolingConduct code reviews and provide mentorship to other engineersStay current with frontend development trends and propose improvements to the design systemRequired Qualifications3 years of professional experience in frontend developmentStrong proficiency in React or Angular or bothDeep understanding of JavaScriptTypeScript HTML5 and CSS3Experience building and maintaining component libraries or design systemsKnowledge of accessibility standards WCAG and best practicesFamiliarity with version control systems Git and CICD pipelinesStrong problemsolving skills and attention to detailExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesBonus QualificationsExperience with Web Components and web standardsProficiency in Stencil for building frameworkagnostic componentsExperience with NX monorepo management and build toolsKnowledge of design tokens and theming systemsExperience with Storybook or similar component documentation toolsUnderstanding of CSSinJS solutions and modern styling approachesExperience with testing frameworks Jest Storybook Playwright
