ResponsibilitiesYou will be expected to participate in the design review process, write high-quality code, and work with a dedicated team of QA Analysts, Business Analysts, and Infrastructure TeamsMarket Intelligence is seeking a Database engineer/developer to create software design, development, and maintenance for data processing applicationsThis person would be part of a development team that manages and supports the internal & external applications that is supporting the business portfolioThis role expects a candidate to handle any data processing, big data application developmentFast-paced agile environment that deals with huge volumes of data, so youll have an opportunity to sharpen your software development and data skills and work on an emerging technology stackGood experience with developing solutions involving relational database technologies on SQL Server platform, stored procedure programming experience using Transact SQLAssisting database development teams in designing new database programs that meet the organisations data storage needsPerforming debugging procedures on database scripts and programs, as well as resolving conflictsProficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies like Agile, Test-driven developmentCheck-in application code changes into the source repositoryPerform unit testing of application code and fix errorsInterface with databases to extract information and build reportsDocumenting processes related to database design, configuration, and performanceKeeping abreast of developments and best practices in database engineeringEffectively interact with customers, business users and IT staffInterested candidates are required to send their resume to: hidden_email
