Job Description

    Hi,Position: Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager/Manager - International Business DevelopmentDepartment: International Business/ExportsLocation: New DelhiExperience: Minimum 4 years in the Pharma industry (Formulations & Injectables)CTC: 5-10 LPAIndustry: Pharma (only)Qualification: MBA or B PharmaPreferred Market Exposure: Africa, LATAM, GCC, SEA, CISRole & Responsibilities:
    • Contract Manufacturing & Research: Lead business development initiatives for Contract Manufacturing and Contract Research in assigned territories.
    • Market Development: Explore and develop markets for both existing and new products in the assigned regions.
    • Product Registration: Oversee the registration process for new products in the respective markets.
    • Commercial Query Resolution: Manage and resolve commercial queries related to the export business.
    • Export Business Development: Interact with international clients, identify new markets, and select products for registration. Lead business deals with foreign clients and ensure swift action for commercialization.
    • Coordination with Regulatory Affairs: Work closely with the Regulatory Affairs team for samples, document deficiency handling, and future planning.
    • Export Documentation: Collect and prepare export documents, ensuring all requirements for shipment and export are met.
    • Market Research: Conduct secondary market research to identify lucrative territories and appropriate business models.
    • Business Strategy: Assist in the identification of new business opportunities and in the strategic planning for the international business development process.
    Preferred Candidate Profile:
    • Industry Experience: Must have experience in the pharma industry, with a focus on formulations and injectables.
    • International Travel: Prior international travel experience is essential.
    • Independent Sales & BD Management: Ability to handle sales and business development responsibilities independently.
    • Sales Budget & Planning: Proven experience in sales budgeting and planning.
    • Market Exposure: Exposure to markets such as Africa, Latin America, South-East Asia, or CIS is preferred.
    • Tender Exposure: Experience with international tenders, both from government and private bodies.
