Job Description

    Job Title: Assistant Vice President - Sales & Marketing (South Asia Region)Client:A leading Global Hospitality Company with a strong presence in India (Managed and Franchised hotels with 4 Brands across mid segment and upscale segments. With a commitment to excellence and a focus on providing exceptional guest experiences, the Company has established itself as a prominent player in the hospitality industry.Summary:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as the Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Sales & Marketing for the South Asia region. This role will be based in New Delhi and will be responsible for driving Revenue growth, managing Regional Offices and Sales Teams across India, nurturing Owner Relations, and overseeing Marketing, PR, and Revenue Management initiatives.Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic Sales and Marketing plans to achieve Revenue targets in the South Asia region, comprising India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri. Lanka. Revenue Generation through sales efforts and various channels of distribution. Marketing and distribution services to Managed and Franchised hotels with Budgeting, forecasting and planning. Marketing: Digital marketing, advertising ,Corporate communications,brand management ,Representation in industry events SATTE, TAAI,TTF, SKAL etc. Owner / Franchisee Relations: Maintain effective relations with Owners / Franchisee partners Lead and mentor a team of sales and marketing professionals to drive performance and maximize market potential. Responsible for recruitment, training, and retention of Sales & Marketing resources. Foster strong relationships with hotel owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment with company objectives and strategies. Oversee regional offices and provide guidance to ensure operational excellence and consistency in execution. Drive marketing and public relations initiatives to enhance brand visibility and reputation in the market. Implement revenue management strategies to optimize pricing, inventory, and distribution channels.Preferred Qualifications & Experieence : Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing or related field with 15-20 years Experience MBA degree would be an advantage. Proven track record of success in PAN INDIA Sales and Marketing leadership roles within the Hospitality Industry, with a focus on the South Asia market. Past Experience at Pan India level of responsibility with leading Domestic/ International Hotel Brands in India with a flair for strong Owner Relationships is desirable. Strong understanding of revenue management principles and techniques. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead a geographically dispersed team.
