    Job RoleThe primary role of the Business Development Manager is to PROSPECT FOR NEW CLIENTS BY NETWORKING, COLD CALLING, and ADVERTISING OR OTHER MEANS OF GENERATING INTEREST FROM POTENTIAL CLIENTS.STRATEGIC PLANNING is a key part of this job description, since it is the business managers responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming in to the company. This requires thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the companys competitors.The main duties of the Business Development Manager can be summarized as follows:New Business Development Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business. Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities. * Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining or leveraging your network. Research and build relationships with ARCHITECTS/NEW CLIENTS. Generate leads through Architects. Work with management team to identify and evaluate market, new target clients. Work with management team to develop and implement strategic sales plan. Identify and evaluate specific new profitable business opportunities. Initiate and complete proposals and presentation for new business opportunities. Work with internal teams to deliver outstanding presentation to capture profitable business opportunity. Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion.
