Job Description

    A cardiology technician is a medical professional whospecializes in diagnosing and treating heart conditions. They typically work in a hospital or clinic, and may be responsible for performing tests and procedures on patients with heart disease.Job description1. Ensure that the machine is switched on at the start of the day and coordinating with the biomedical department in the maintenance of the equipment2. Receiving the patients and checking for completeness of their papers, preparation for the test and collecting their previous investigation reports3. Briefing the patients about the procedures4. Preparing the patient for the procedure and conducting the procedure as prescribed by the physician5. Recording the patients history in brief6. Keeping a record of statistics of the department7. Conducting relevant tests for the referral patients in West Block with portable ECG or 2D ECHO machine.8. Service rendering for the procedures under the concerned consultants9. Indenting from stores, stock taking and Submitting depletion and Monthly Stock Status Report to Manager / Executive OPD.10. Monthly data collection, entry of Patient waiting for Non- invasive cardiology services.The data is submitted to Manager/ Executive OPD for analysis and reporting.Results are shared with Technicians and corrective actions are taken if results are below benchmark.
