Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer with a strong background in the Oil & Gas industry and expertise in steel structures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and overseeing the construction of civil and structural components in oil and gas facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:
• Design, review, and approve civil and structural engineering designs for oil & gas projects.
• Conduct structural analysis and ensure stability and safety of steel structures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
• Conduct site inspections and provide technical guidance during project execution.
• Prepare engineering reports, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies for structural integrity.
• Provide technical expertise in material selection and construction methodologies.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelors / Masters degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10-15 years of experience in civil/structural engineering within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong knowledge of steel structures and structural engineering principles.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (STAAD Pro, SAP2000, ETABS, etc.).
• Familiarity with international codes and standards (API, ASCE, AISC, IS Codes, etc.).
• Experience in preparing detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience in offshore structures or refinery projects.
• Knowledge of foundation design, reinforced concrete structures, and seismic analysis.
• Project management and coordination experience.
