Job Description

    The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter. You will be the face of an e-commerce company you will own the customer relationship from the very beginning. You will interact with customers who are emailing, calling, and texting about product questions and account inquiries. Its important that you can work during Pacific U.S. time zone hours.Come join a team of intelligent, fast-paced and mission-driven team!About the Position:Customer support agent should also be conversational, helpful, and service oriented for our luxury clients. We are also looking for someone who is tech savvy and has a deep knowledge of Shopify back end. There is a lot of manual upkeep needed for our website because many of our manufacturing partners are not so modernized with their inventory systems. Some of the daily responsibilities would be:Customer facing:Answering 5-20 inquiries per dayUpdating trade status (marking tax exemption for trade professionals who send us their tax id. forms)Getting shipping quotes for inquiries and sales via 1st DibsCreating Draft orders in shopify for custom orders or Sample requests (shipping fees)Shopify Upkeep:Manually creating POs in excel from orders received on shopify.Sending the POs to the correct manufacturing partner in a timely fashionFollowing the status of those orders and tracking shipping then inputting tracking info into shopifyUploading daily inventory sheetsPeriodically updating product listings with estimated in-stock dates.Helping to implement bulk edits to product listings (when prices increase, or lead times change)Shipping:Connecting with white Glove shipping partners to stay on top of order statusFilling out release forms from shippers when they receive the goods.Managing damage claims and customer expectations for items broken in shipping, and help facilitate replacement items,
