Why this job mattersThe post holder will be part of DevOps team supporting Opsview IMPSS plugin code development work and reporting. The post holder will act as technical member supporting new and existing products that come under the responsibility of the team.What Youll Be DoingWriting Test Modules using Python for Opsview Monitoring platform which includes health check, disk usage of different types of devices like Cisco Appliances, checkpoint Appliances, Juniper Appliances etc.Identify opportunities for automation and work closely with Platform Ops team for reducing manual effortTo ensure that source code for software produced is of an acceptable quality, both in terms of requirements and scalabilityProvide assistance and training to technical support staff within Delivery/Ops team to improve diagnostic skills and thereby reduce unwarranted fault tickets.To support in Business development and defining future strategyDevelopment of.
