GS1 global standards are designed to improve the efficiency, safety and visibility of supply chains, both physical and digital channels, across 25 industry sectors.GS1 standards facilitate unique and universal identification, capture and share of information on products and services, from point-of-origin to point-of-sale or dispensation. We help Industry in adopting these standards in their supply chains to enhance efficiency and profitability.GS1 standards are extensively used in India across retailed products. These standards are. implemented on pharmaceutical drugs/devices for expiry management and counterfeit detection, hospital identification, automated toll collection on National Highways, Railway wagon tracking, counterfeit detection of alcoholic beverages, document identification & authentication etc.For more details, log in to: www.gs1india.org www.gs1.orgDGM Industry EngagementJob profileGenerate business opportunities for use of GS1 standards & services across Industry sectors for achieving targets.Study and understand client supply chain business processes and conceptualise solutions based on GS1 standards.Should possess strong techno-commercial skills, excellent client relationship building capabilities and demonstrated result orientation.Need to keep abreast with global developments on emerging technologies, applications related to IoT, blockchain, AI etc and on how they can be deployed to enhance supply chain performance across organisations.Extensive interaction would also be required with Govt. bodies, Regulators and Industry at the highest levels to enable wide adoption of GS1 global standards across Retail, Healthcare, Agriculture, Railways, Defence, T&L sectors.Desired skillsets:Experience in Business Development/Sales, preferably of ERP/CRM/BPM software solutions/ consultative selling. Ability to think out of the box and conceptualize innovative & creative solutions.Fast learner with ability & willingness to adapt to new technologies & changing business environment with direct selling experience to large enterprises.Must be highly creative, result oriented and self-motivated individuals with ability to understand technologies and generate revenue.Excellent presentation, written, communication skills and maturity to interact at very senior levels in Industry/Govt.
