Job Description

    Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to design, develop, and improve electrical systems and components for industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will prepare electrical designs, ensure compliance with applicable standards, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support projects from concept through commissioning.Key Responsibilities
    • Design electrical systems, control panels, power distribution, and wiring layouts.
    • Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts.
    • Perform electrical load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop, and short-circuit studies.
    • Select electrical equipment, including transformers, switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, cables, and protection devices.
    • Develop technical drawings and documentation using CAD software.
    • Ensure designs comply with applicable electrical codes, standards, and client specifications.
    • Coordinate with mechanical, civil, instrumentation, and project teams.
    • Review vendor drawings and technical submittals.
    • Provide technical support during installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
    • Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and engineering reports.
    • Support project planning, cost estimation, and schedule management.
