You could be the next person to join the Namshi family!Job OverviewWe are looking for a Front End Web Developer who can blend creativity with effective coding skills to create and implement a next generation UX for our website.Responsibilities Liaise with the Content Team to plan and forecast upcoming requirements. in terms of front-end Liaise with Lead Developer in order to setup a formal and effective process that eases interactions between Designers and Developers Mentor and develop more junior/intermediate members of the team on HTML and CSS as well as JavaScript and jQuery Implement requirements following the latest and best industry practices Refactor part of our codebase Report daily in an accurate and timely manner to the Lead Developer about the progress of your work stream Integrate code in line with what will be produced by the Backend Developers Ensure cross-browser compatibility for the latest major releases of all major browsers and provide graceful degradation for outdated browser versionsKPIs Ability to integrate the latest technologies in the codebase (HTML5/CSS3) Growth of client-side interaction between our customers and the website Ability to track, report and fix client-side errors - visibleerrors as well as hidden(esp.JS) according to what our reporting tools are monitoring Degree of communication with the content & design teams Professional growth of junior/intermediate front-end developers Levels of communication and understanding of performance standards amongst other members of the development teamSkills required Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment Strong understanding of PHP Ability and desire to train and support less experienced Developers HTML/XHTML, preferably the ideal candidate should also be familiar HTML5 JavaScript, from DOM manipulation to communication with pure server-side code (esp.
