Job Description

    • POSITION -Head -Corporate Partnership
    Key Responsibilities:(1) Creating strategies and developing implementation plans for the acquisition and retention of corporate and institutional donors, including their end-to-end servicing; (2) Ensuring the achievement of the corporate fund-raising target of the organization; Personally leading corporate marketing initiatives with a special focus on closing deals/ donations and achieving set targets as per the objectives of the organization. Using research tools to provide quality leads to corporate leads in the team; Identifying white spaces which can help grow corporate donor coverage; (3) Closely monitoring the achievement of corporate fund-raising targets, providing support to team members, as necessary; (4) Developing new corporate partnerships, through increased reach-outs to large and medium-sized corporate organizations, with emphasis on employee engagement, payroll giving programs, donation drives, cause-related marketing tie-ups, obtaining permission from platforms like corporate/ IT and corporate hubs, for fundraising purposes, etc.; (5) Conducting surveys for identifying potential corporates and industry segments for fundraising; (6) Undertaking independent research for finding suitable donors; Assessing donor alignment, following up on leads, and arranging for meetings and presentations; (7) Conducting meetings with potential donors and supporting the closure of deals, to acquire new donor partnerships; (8) Ensuring regular communication with corporate partners to provide them updates on ongoing initiatives and their impact; (9) Obtaining and sharing information on best practices/ success stories with team members to build capabilities and increase fund generation; (10) Conducting various fundraising initiatives, including the organization of fundraising events; (11) Coordinating internal communications to enhance awareness of organizational direction, mission, aims and activities; Providing training to the team on product and pitch, to ensure their productivity and improved performance; (12) Building a learning and development culture for the fundraising team; (13) Improving proposal writing/ grant application process; Seeking continuous feedback from stakeholders to improve service delivery to corporate donors.QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:Qualification:Applicants should be post-graduates, or equivalent.Experience:12 years of experience and demonstrated success in handling market-driven, external facing roles, and assuming progressively increasing responsibilities. Skills and Competencies:(1) High energy, passion, and hunger for doing impactful work;(2) Strong result orientation, with a history of exceeding expectations;(3) Proven ability to build, manage and develop key stakeholder relationships;(4) Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal;(5) Hands-on, intrapreneurial leadership style, with a growth and learning mindset; (6) Ability to work independently yet in a collaborative manner in a fast-paced, dynamic, agile environment;(7) Excellent team management skills to ensure a productive and result-oriented focus and delivery from each team member; (8) Excellent communication skills (English and Hindi). Must have proven writing, presentation and people management skills.
