Job Description

    Job DescriptionPosition Summary :As a Data Scientist at BytEdge, you will play a crucial role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive business decisions and enhance our products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement data-driven solutions, predictive models, and analytics to solve complex business challenges.Key Responsibilities Conduct exploratory data analysis, develop predictive models, and perform statistical analysis to extract valuable insights from large datasets. Develop and deploy machine learning algorithms to solve real-world problems, including but not limited to classification, regression, clustering, and recommendation systems. Create visually compelling and informative data visualizations using tools like Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau to communicate insights effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Perform feature engineering tasks and identify relevant features and preprocess. data to improve model performance. Prepare and clean datasets, handling missing data and outliers, and ensure data quality and integrity. Evaluate the performance of machine learning models and iterate to improve them continuously. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders to define problem statements and provide data-driven solutions. Maintain thorough documentation of data science processes, methodologies, and code. Stay up to date with the latest developments in data science and machine learning to bring innovative solutions to the team.Qualifications Bachelors or masters degree in computer science, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field. Required 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python. Experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy) and machine learning frameworks (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Machine Learning algorithms such as Regression, classification techniques. Proficiency in time series data, performing time series analysis and forecasting, identifying seasonality, time decomposition etc. Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau). Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.(ref:hirist.com,
