Job Description

    The Austrian Development Agency (ADA), as the Operational Unit of the Austrian Development Cooperation (ADC), has been entrusted by the European Union (EU) to execute the EU4RIVERS project in Albania from October 2023 to September 2028. The primary beneficiary of this project is the Albanian Water Resources Management Agency (AMBU).ADA is seeking to finalize seven distinct service contracts for the provision of technical consultancy services as follows:1. National Expert on Environmental Economic Assessment (6532-00/2023/ SUB 04/2025); expected workload of 60 working days over 10 months.2. National Expert for River Morphology Assessment (6532-00/2023/ SUB 05/2025); expected workload of 60 working days over 9 months.3. National Expert in Aquatic Ecosystem Ecology - Benthic Invertebrates (6532-00/2023/ SUB 06/2025); expected workload of 50 working days over 9 months.4. National Expert in Aquatic Ecosystem Ecology - Phytoplankton (diatoms) (6532-00/2023/ SUB 07/2025); expected workload of 50 working days over 9 months.5. National Expert on EU-compliant Water Chemistry for Albania (6532-00/2023/ SUB 08/2025); expected workload of 50 working days over 6 months.6. National Expert on Assessment of Nitrates Pollution (6532-00/2023/ SUB 09/2025); expected workload of 60 working days over 9 months.7. National Expert in Aquatic Ecosystem Ecology - Fish (6532-00/2023/ SUB 13/2025); expected workload of 50 working days over 8 months.The tentative commencement date for these contracts is May 2025, with the services to be conducted in Tirana, Albania.
