As we continue to expand our presence in the industry, we are seeking a talented Logistics Operations Officer to join our dynamic team.Job Summary:The Logistics Operations Officer will play a pivotal role in coordinating and executing various logistics operations to ensure the smooth and timely transportation of goods. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics management, excellent organizational skills, and a keen eye for detail. With at least 3 years of experience in the field, the Logistics Operations Officer will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the logistics process, from planning and scheduling to monitoring and reporting.Responsibilities:Coordinate Transportation: Arrange transportation for goods, including scheduling shipments, coordinating with carriers, and tracking deliveries to ensure on-time arrivals.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, monitor stock movements, and coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate and efficient inventory management.Optimize Supply Chain: Identify opportunities for optimizing the supply chain, reducing costs, and improving efficiency in logistics operations.Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including shipping manifests, customs forms, and other relevant paperwork required for transportation and compliance purposes.Problem Resolution: Address any issues or delays in transportation promptly, working closely with internal teams, external partners, and carriers to find timely solutions.Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements throughout the logistics process, including proper handling, storage, and transportation of goods.Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on shipment status, potential delays, and other relevant information.Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement in logistics operations, develop and implement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline processes.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of approved experience in logistics operations, preferably in an overseas logistics company.Strong understanding of logistics principles, processes, and best practices.Proficiency in logistics management software and tools.Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to transportation and logistics.
