• Conduct non-destructive testing (NDT) on materials, components, and assemblies to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Utilize various testing methods to detect flaws, cracks, and other imperfections without compromising the integrity of the tested materials.
Responsibilities:
1. PerformNDTinspections using techniques such as Eddy Current testing.
2. Interpret and evaluate test results to identify defects or abnormalities and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
3. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests performed, and results obtained.
4. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to determine testing procedures and specifications.
5. Ensure equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to conduct accurate tests.
6. Adhere to safety procedures and protocols during testing operations.
7. Provide technical guidance and training to junior staff or technicians as needed.
8. Stay updated with industry standards, technological advancements, and best practices inNDT.
Requirements:
• BTech (Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/etc)
• Certification in relevantNDTmethods.
• Fresher or 1 year experience in performingNDTinspections in an industrial setting.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
• Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and procedures.
• Medically fitness certificate.
• Eyesight medical fitness certificate (6/6 means you see at 6 meters what an average person can see at six meters).
