Job Description

    Job Profile: NGO Coordinator ( Gyan Chand Jeevan Jyoti TrustLocation:Okhla Phase 1, Okhla Industrial Estate, New Delhi, 110020. (Travel Required)Employment Type: Full-timeAbout Gyan Chand Jeevan Jyoti Trust:Gyan Chand Jeevan Jyoti Trust is a self-funded NGO committed to social welfare through impactful activities and fundraising efforts. Our focus is on executing meaningful community programs, raising funds, and collaborating with other NGOs and organizations to maximize our social impact.Key Responsibilities:1. NGO Operations & Activity Management:
    • Plan and execute 2-3 community activities per month such as health camps, education drives, food distribution, and women empowerment programs.
    • Coordinate with volunteers, community leaders, and stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of activities.
    • Maintain detailed records and reports of all NGO initiatives.
    2.Fundraising & Financial Management:
    • Develop and implement effective fundraising strategies to secure funds for NGO activities.
    • Connect with corporate sponsors, donors, and grant opportunities to ensure financial sustainability.
    • Manage donor relations, ensure transparency in fund utilization, and maintain financial records.
    3. NGO Recognition & Collaboration:
    • Work towards getting recognition for the trust from government bodies, CSR programs, and other NGOs.
    • Establish partnerships with other NGOs, government agencies, and social organizations to expand the reach of trust activities.
    • Represent the NGO in networking events, meetings, and conferences.
    4. Administrative & Compliance Management:
    • Ensure that all NGO operations comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
    • Handle documentation for registrations, licenses, permits, and approvals needed for NGO operations.
    • Maintain necessary records for audits, funding reports, and compliance purposes.
    5. Travel & On-Ground Coordination:
    • Must be willing to travel to different locations for NGO activities, meetings, and fundraising initiatives.
    • Conduct on-ground research and surveys to identify areas where the NGO can have a greater impact.
    Required Qualifications & Skills:Experience: Minimum1-3 years in NGO operations, fundraising, or social work. Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Public Administration, or a related field. Fundraising Expertise: Knowledge of fundraising strategies, grant applications, and CSR initiatives. NGO Management: Experience in planning and executing social projects, managing volunteers, and coordinating NGO activities. Communication & PR: Strong skills in networking, proposal writing, and stakeholder management. Travel Flexibility: Willing to travel as required for NGO events and community outreach.
