Job Description

    • Handle day-to-day branch banking and teller operations.
    • Process NEFT and RTGS transactions accurately within prescribed TAT.
    • Handle cash and non-cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and fund transfers.
    • Manage Current Account and Savings Account (CASA) opening and servicing requests.
    • Perform KYC verification and KYC updation as per bank guidelines.
    • Accept and process customer instructions, account servicing requests and transaction-related queries.
    • Handle DD/MC, cheque and other branch banking transactions.
    • Perform cash balancing and support daily reconciliation
    • Identify counterfeit currency and follow prescribed cash-handling procedures.
    • Provide effective customer service and resolve customer queries within defined TAT.
    • Educate customers about digital banking, payment channels and other banking services.
    • Maintain proper records, registers and transaction documentation.
    • Support branch audit, compliance and operational risk requirements.
    • Ensure adherence to RBI guidelines, KYC/AML requirements and internal bank policies.
    • Coordinate with relevant internal teams for timely resolution of operational issues.
    Support branch business by identifying opportunities for CASA, FD/RD, insurance, mutual funds, credit cards and other banking products.
