Job Description

    Job Purpose:The scope of work under this engagement encompasses outreach to new Training Providers, Orientation of the scheme and Onboarding the Training Providers on Skill India Digital, for it to be ready for on ground scheme implementation. The following steps include onboarding of Training Providers -1. Orientation on PMKVY Scheme:
    • Develop an orientation module encompassing the core objectives, methodologies and financials under PMKVY.
    2. Registration of Training Provider (TP) on SID:
    • Handhold the new entities, who have been allocated targets to come on SID and register themselves as a Training Provider.
    • Coordinate with respective SPOC at NSDC and align approval of the TP on the SID
    • Outcome: TP marked Deemed Ready status by PMU
    3. Registration of Training Center (TC) on SID:
    • Two methods are used of TC Registration by filling up of CAAF (for all Institutes except RPL and Skill India Centers) and by creating TC ID from the PMU dashboard
    • Based on the kind of institute or sub scheme , the TP will have to be guided and handheld
    • Coordinate with NSDC SPOC for virtual verifications / physical visits and final approval.
    • Outcome: Center ready for implementation ; Marked A&A status
    • 4. Project Creation:
      • Two methods are used for Project Creation TP on its own (STT / SP and RPL) and Project creation by PMU ( Skill India Centers)
      • Guide TP on Project creation steps on SID
      • Coordinate with NSDC SPOC for final approval
      • Outcome: Project ID generation ; Job Roles and Targets defined
      5. Candidate Registration:
      • Offer guidance on process of registering candidates on SID as per scheme guidelines and through e- KYC and Aadhar authentication method.
      • Outcome: Adhar authenticated and mobile number verified candidates registered on SID.
      6.Batch Creation:
      • Selection of Job roles, location , batch date and batch time.
      • Creating Training Calendar as per Theory , Practical and OJT hours (as defined by NCVET).
      • Registration and linking the trainer to the batch
      • Outcome: Created batched visible on SID.
      • 7. Enrollment:
        • Guide and support on enrollment process for candidates interested in participating in PMKVY
        • Submit batches to Awarding Body
        • Outcome: Enrolment count on SID
        8. AEBAS Onboarding (Aadhaar Enabled Biometric Attendance System):
        • Implement an Aadhaar-enabled biometric attendance system (AEBAS) for tracking attendance during SID training and programs.
        • Support on necessary tools infrastructure procurement for AEBAS integration.
        • Conduct training sessions for stakeholders on utilizing AEBAS for attendance tracking purposes.
        • Coordinate with NSDC SPOC for credentials and alignment with NIC.
