Plant Head/GM For Metal IndustryGreetings!!we are hiring Plant Head/GM for Lead Recycling Industry for Tirupati/Delhi NCR location .Role & responsibilitiesOperational Good PracticesRegular early morning checking weight and number of pieces in Incoming RML/MM and packed and unpacked Finished GoodRegular early morning checking physically available stock of plate/paste any WIP and cross checking the same in BusyEnsuring calibration of weighing bridges everydayEnsuring weight is taken on internal small weighing bridge for every loading and unloadingChecking daily batch wise production from internal small weighing bridge and weight provide by dispatch (excess) and expecting this increase in the end of the monthRaw Material Management and ProcurementAll type of batteries to be booked as per their specification so that recovery can be calculated properlyManagement of scrap no material should be left un used after the month endRML and MM procurement through HO at the rates which are within budgetMaintaining Optimum Inventory level after understanding finance cost (Interest rates) and availabilityCost Management and ControlEnsure inventory levels are kept within range so that interest cost are below the stated figures in BPProduction is done efficiently so that the production cost is within the BP costManpower cost is kept within the prescribed limitsBusiness ExcellenceDefining activities to execute for Special Business Unit (SBU)/Plant in short-term with clear milestones aligned to the vision and business plan of the organization.Understand the financial aspects of business to make short term Annual Business Plan(ABP) & Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long term strategic business plan(Mission) for sustainable and profitable business of Special Business Unit(SBU)/Plant aligned with the business plan of the organization as finalized by managementProject and Process ManagementPrepare expansion, modification and improvisation Project Plan in such a manner that all projects are delivered on time and there is no revenue loss due to delay in project executionGuide Project Team to Identify and Maintain right Machine and Technology which will help to produce quality lead alloys in efficient mannerManufacturing ExcellenceBuild the world class Lead Alloy manufacturing facilities as per the current business requirementLead the capacity enhancement for future business objectives and also be able to accommodate new Lead Alloy products line in short span of timeDesign complete Production process based on lean manufacturing process management to improve efficiencies and optimization of available resources and ensure having tenacity to sustain aggressive growth.Drive different cost optimization, manpower utilization, productivity improvement, Inventory optimization, reduction in production cost, lean manufacturing, Environment and Health & Safety projectsQuality ExcellenceDrive ISO and other quality standards to improve the quality of products and manufacturing system as per the global lead manufacturing standardStudy different global quality standards and competitors benchmark and drive quality team to bring required changes in existing products and ensure same standards have been maintained in new products launchIntroduce different quality measurements and control like QMS, CAPA , POKE-YOKE & Cost of Poor Quality to keep products quality as per the desired standard and reduce customer complaints and rejectionsMaintenance and DevelopmentKeep control on preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance,Indirect involvements in maintenance activities required for production and operation in plant.Develops preventive maintenance program for the Plant.
