Job Description

    Job Title:PropertyAccountant, Yardi, Commercial PropertiesLocation:RemotePosition Type:Full-TimeIntroduction:We areseekinga highly skilled and experiencedPropertyAccountantto join our dynamic team. The idealcandidatewillbe responsible forend-to-end accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of commercial properties. This role requires strong knowledge of commercial real estate accounting, lease structures, reconciliations, and month-end close processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, deadline-driven, and comfortable working with property managementsystems.Scope
    • Full-cycle accounting for commercial properties
    • Month-end close, journal entries, and financial statements
    • Lease accounting including rent, CAM, recoveries, and straight-line rent
    • Bank and balance sheet reconciliations
    • AP/AR review and coordination with property managers
    • Budget support, variance analysis, and auditassistance
    Software
    • Must haveYardi experience- non-negotiable.
    • Proficient in MS Office.
    Required Education and Experience:
    • Must haveCPA/CA/MBA degreeinaccounting,Financeor related field.
    • 6 yearsof total experience in RTR, GL profile. Strong accounting knowledge.
    • 3 yearsof experience as property accountant(Commercial Accountingis must), preferably in the real estate or property management sector.
    • Proficiencyin accounting softwareYardiand Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Strong analytical skillswith attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Knowledge of real estate accounting principles and regulations ismust.
