Job Description

    Job Title: Purchase ExecutiveLocation: Badarpur, DelhiExperience: 2- 5 years in Procurement or Purchase (preferably in the cable or electrical industry) Employment Type: Full-timeKey Responsibilities:
    • Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of raw materials (copper, PVC, XLPE, chemicals, etc.).
    • Purchase Orders: Create and process purchase orders; ensure alignment with production schedules and inventory levels.
    • Price Negotiation: Ensure cost-effectiveness through competitive price negotiation while maintaining quality standards.
    • Inventory Coordination: Coordinate with stores and production departments to maintain optimal stock levels.
    • Follow-up: Monitor order status, ensure timely delivery, and resolve any supply issues or delays.
    • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other procurement activities.
    • Compliance: Ensure purchases comply with company policies and quality standards.
    • Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, material costs, and supplier performance.
    Required Skills:
    • Good knowledge of raw materials used in cable manufacturing
    • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP software
    • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelors Degree (B.Com, BBA, or equivalent);
    • Experience in the cable/electrical manufacturing sector is a must
