QA SDET Java Lead

Job Description

As a QA SDET Java Lead at our company, you will be responsible for designing, testing, and deploying scalable and resilient microservices using Java. Your role will involve collaborating with other developers, architects, and product owners to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and follow best practices. You will also contribute to code reviews, documentation, testing, and continuous integration and delivery processes. In addition, troubleshooting and resolving issues in development, testing, and production environments will be part of your responsibilities. It is essential to stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in the Java ecosystem and cloud computing.Key Responsibilities:- Experience in automation of services/API software layers (e.g. UI, services, APIs, etc.) and debugging and optimizing of applications/automated test scripts.- Strong Knowledge of Java and Data Structures.- Experience in Cucumber/BDD framework and Jmeter.- Knowledge of Spring Boot, API Automation, SQL Queries, and familiarity with Agile methodologies.- Good Knowledge of CI/CD technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.).- Any Messaging application such as Kafka, Rabbit MQ, IBM MQ.Qualifications Required:- 6 years of experience in Selenium, API Testing, Cucumber/BDD.- Expertise in Java, with 6 to 12 years of overall experience.- Experience with automation of services/API layers and debugging applications.- Strong knowledge of Java, Data Structures, Cucumber/BDD, Jmeter, Spring Boot, API Automation, SQL Queries, and Agile methodologies.- Familiarity with CI/CD technologies.In addition to the above, our company offers a competitive salary and benefits package, a culture focused on talent development with quarterly growth cycles, company-sponsored higher education and certifications, an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, employee engagement initiatives, annual health check-ups, and insurance coverage for self, spouse, two children, and parents.
