Job Description

    OurConstructioncompany is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to be a part of our team. You should be able to review the construction plans and provide the clients with an estimate of the materials required. Besides, you should be able to coordinate with vendors and stakeholders in securing the best deal and material quotation.You should be able to place orders for the materials and maintain a record of the same. Moreover, you should be able to visit construction sites and coordinate withSite SupervisorsandContractorswhen need be. In addition to this, you should be able to network and build long-term connections with stakeholders.As a Quantity Surveyor, you should have an excellent eye for detail and strong analytical skills. Your ability to negotiate effectively will also be considered. To excel in this job role, you should have industry experience and knowledge of the various construction processes.Send in your application if you can fulfill the job requirements.     • Reviewing and interpreting the construction plans
    • Determining the quantity of materials required based on the construction plan
    • Negotiating and securing the best deals for construction materials
    • Coordinating with the Site Supervisor and Contractor to estimate the number of materials required
    • Preparing material budget and adhering to the same
    • Performing risk assessments and suggesting improvement measures
    • Placing orders for materials and updating the inventory
    • Visiting construction sites to determine material requirements as and when needed
    • Creating and maintaining a report of the daily operations
    • Building a long-lasting business relationship with vendors and stakeholders
