Job Description

    We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented radiologic technologist to be responsible for operating imaging equipment for diagnostic purposes. The radiologic technologists responsibilities include following physicians orders regarding the area of the body to scan, positioning patients and equipment, and answering patients questions. The radiologic technologist will use imaging equipment to capture images of tissues, bones, organs, and vessels, and may assist in the administration of radiation therapy treatments or radiopharmaceuticals.To be a successful radiologic technologist, you should be compassionate and have good communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with patients.     • Preparing examination rooms for patient examinations.
    • Administering radiopharmaceuticals to obtain clear, usable images.
    • Positioning patients and equipment, explaining the procedures, and ensuring patients comfort.
    • Inserting commands and data into the computer to document and specify the scan sequences, and monitoring the video display to adjust the density or contrast.
