Job Description

    As a Relationship Manager working in the Working Capital division of the bank, your role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at revenue generation, relationship management, communication of bank products, market research, credit appraisal, documentation, compliance, self-management, and risk control. Here is a detailed breakdown of your key responsibilities: **Core Responsibilities:** - Generate revenue and achieve the banks objectives in terms of earnings, assets, liabilities, and credit quality from client relationships across all product groups as per agreed budgets and targets. **Relationship Management:** - Seek and acquire new client relationships by understanding their financial needs and providing suitable solutions with bank products and services. - Manage client relationships by identifying financial needs, advising, structuring deals, preparing terms and conditions, and closing deals. - Assess banking needs and risks for clients to optimize risk-reward for the bank. **Communication/PR of Banks Products:** - Undertake brand communication initiatives for designated products. - Communicate product positioning messaging to differentiate bank products in the market. **Market Research:** - Demonstrate understanding of consumers, competition, and current market conditions through primary and secondary research. **Credit Appraisal:** - Appraise proposals by conducting detailed analysis of Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Financial Ratios, Cash Flows, Management Risk, Industry Risk, and Economic conditions. **Documentation and Compliance:** - Maintain high-quality standards of documentation, client communication, process compliance on an ongoing basis with product partners, OSD, Risk Management, and other Relationship Management groups. **Self-Management Responsibilities:** - Define performance goals in discussion with the reporting manager and ensure they are monitored and achieved throughout the year. - Take ownership of your learning agenda by identifying development needs, understanding relevant competencies, and keeping abreast of industry developments. **Risk and Internal Control Responsibilities:** - Follow risk policies and processes to mitigate various risks as instructed by the departmental manager. - Execute established internal control systems and compile relevant information for departmental audits when necessary. You are expected to excel in these responsibilities to contribute effectively to the banks success in the Working Capital domain.
