Job Description

    Position:Route Manager Bus OperationsLocation:DelhiJob Summary:As a Route Manager Bus Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth execution of bus services across designated routes. Your role involves managing fleet maintenance, ensuring operational efficiency, resolving real-time issues, and enhancing the overall passenger experience. You will work closely with vendors, marshals, and drivers to minimize disruptions and maintain high service standards.Key Responsibilities:1. Coordinate with vendors to ensure fleet maintenance, minimizing breakdowns and ensuring high vehicleavailability.2. Address and resolve real-time queries and issues raised by marshals and drivers.3. Monitor and improve customer satisfaction by managing ratings, reviews, and feedback.4. Ensure adherence to fleet schedules, station safety standards, and the quality of rest stops.5. Oversee fleet compliance, including GPS tracking, camera functionality, and regulatory requirements.6. Work closely with operators and internal teams to ensure smooth route execution and minimal disruptions.7. Continuously assess and optimize route performance, including scheduling, resource allocation, and cost efficiency.8. Effectively manage and engage with blue-collar employees, ensuring smooth operations and workforce motivation.9. Utilize Excel and data analysis to track performance metrics, identify issues, and implement improvements.Qualifications:1. Bachelors degree in any discipline.2. Minimum 2 years of experience in the transportation sector or a similar operational role.3. Strong problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.4. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while handling multiple tasks.5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with vendors, drivers, and internalteams.6. Experience in managing blue-collar employees and ensuring operational discipline.7. Proficiency in Excel for data tracking, reporting, and analysis.Preferred Language Skills:HindiEnglish
