Job Description

    As the Deputy Head of Sales (Spares-2wh & 3wh) in Nigeria within the Automobile industry focusing on 2-wheelers and 3-wheelers, you will be responsible for various key tasks to drive business growth and achieve organizational goals with precision and efficiency.Your primary responsibilities will include identifying the spares potential within the market, expanding and engaging the network of stockists and retailers, and analyzing, planning, guiding Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and Area Sales Managers (ASMs) while monitoring activities of key business influencers and stakeholders such as stockists, retailers, fleet owners, mechanics, and riders.You will be required to study and devise stockist and retailer schemes to facilitate business growth, demonstrate familiarity and expertise in demand-generation activities, and ensure the implementation and adherence of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout the sales process. Additionally, you will oversee stock audits, claims, order preparation, and sales forecasting to maintain a healthy inventory and reduce sales loss effectively.A crucial aspect of your role will involve building the competency of your team members, including RSMs and ASMs, by providing training to enhance their selling skills and approach. You will be accountable for ensuring that 90% of your team members achieve their Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) while also conducting SWOT analyses and generating sales pitches to promote parts through case studies.The ideal candidate for this position should have a minimum of 15 to 20 years of experience working with automobile manufacturers, particularly with 2-wheeler and 3-wheeler Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or vendors. You must have prior experience managing a team of 6-10 members and handling a territory equivalent to 3 or 4 states of India, akin to a Zonal Manager role. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential, along with established contacts in various vendor/manufacturing units and a strong rapport with wholesalers in different countries, including Indias wholesale markets.If you are passionate about driving sales growth, possess excellent leadership skills, and have a deep understanding of the automobile industry, this role offers a dynamic opportunity to accomplish organizational goals and initiatives within specified timelines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.,
