The role will lead on managing and supporting the security design across the SAP landscape to deliver enhanced user experience, efficient processes and effective financial and data controls that meet business requirements. The role build will be delivered by the SAP Centre of Excellence technical team. The outcome is to lead the transformation of our finance processes to become leading class whilst maintaining effective access control, supporting all internal and external stakeholders.The role will manage and own many priorities, deliverables and key stakeholders. Working with stakeholders from across business and technology functions to challenge and enhance the role design whilst striving for process effectiveness and. efficiency.What Ill Be Doing Your Accountabilities Responsible for leading Business role design across a wide range of SAP technologies. Responsible for role design across business processes and applications covering both business and technology users: Lead on managing business stakeholder input / requirements and translating into functional role design. Transition functional design to Build team for Technical Design. Manage sign-off of designs by Global Process Owners, 1st Line of Defence (1LOD) and Technology stakeholders Ensure all necessary controls (e.g. Segregation of Duties and Sensitive Access) are embedded into the design and signed-off by relevant stakeholders Ensure all roles meet regulatory requirements Own the relationships necessary to implement deliverables both across the business and with the Transformation Partner and Technology teams where required. Lead triage of issues identified through testing or identified by users and corresponding fixes as needed. Help in the preparation and delivery of training programmes in relation to roles/access. Maintain role design documentation and relevant material e.g. role cards. Support promotion of GRC technology and automated access control functionality. Supporting on communication and explanation of key design decision with respect to security to external stakeholders such as external audit.Skills Required For The Job Leadership lead multiple discipline teams from participants from MFB, the wider BT businesses and the transformation partners to successfully deliver the project deliverables. Tower Knowledge: Knowledgeable in the drivers of organisational performance improvement, including people drivers of performance and financial literacy (e.g. business KPIs, business cases) Business acumen: Knowledgeable in the drivers of organisational performance improvement, including people drivers of performance and financial literacy (e.g. business KPIs, business cases) Matrix working: Comfortable working on a large programme where activities are managed according to a matrix structure. Able to work collaboratively and manage the time of their team to meet project deliverables. Resilient and able to challenge others, dealing with resistance to change to meet defined Programme objectives Trusted advisor: Good understanding and/or ability to learn about best practice and make process / system improvement recommendations. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Functional Knowledge: Familiar with role-based access and security design principles within an SAP landscape.Experience you would be expected to haveMandatory: Demonstrable knowledge and expertise of SAP security and role design including best practices Demonstrable knowledge and expertise in supporting organisational-wide business processes Preferably operational experience of delivering large SAP implementation projects.
