Senior Manager - Warehouse Operations

Job Description

Senior Manager - Warehouse Operations- Lead end-to-end operations across large-scale fulfilment, sortation, warehouse, and distribution processes.- Drive operational KPIs including productivity, SLA adherence, TAT, throughput, cost, quality, and service levels.- Manage large teams, including workforce planning, manpower deployment, productivity, performance reviews, and people development.- Plan and optimize capacity, inventory movement, dock utilization, manpower, and transportation to meet business requirements.- Identify process gaps and implement Lean, automation, and technology-driven solutions to improve operational efficiency.- Monitor daily MIS, dashboards, and operational metrics; conduct RCA and implement corrective and preventive actions.- Collaborate with Supply Chain, Transportation, Technology, Finance, HR, and Business teams to ensure seamless operations.- Manage vendor and 3PL performance, ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs, quality standards, and cost targets.- Drive cost optimization initiatives through manpower productivity, route/process optimization, resource utilization, and wastage reduction.- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, audit requirements, and statutory guidelines.- Handle escalations related to operational delays, customer experience, capacity constraints, and service-level issues.- Lead new process launches, facility expansions, operational transitions, and continuous improvement projects.- Develop and implement SOPs, governance mechanisms, and performance management frameworks across operations.- Present business reviews and operational performance insights to senior leadership and drive strategic action plans.
