Job Description

Act as the technical point of contact for current and prospective customers, as well as the Sales team
Ensure revenue quota, deployment, and service objectives are met while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
Develop and implement storage sales strategies to help ensure Red Hat objectives are met
Position and present Red Hat solutions and technical proposals to current and prospective customers
Gather the architectural and design details of solutions to meet customers needs and present them to the customer
Research and write responses to technical sections of requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs)
Manage and support presales pilots, demonstrations, proofs of concepts, evaluations, and benchmarking
Work with big data and cloud products like Apache Hadoop, containers, cloud providers, and Red Hat OpenStack Platform to provide storage solutions

3+ years of experience with Linux and Windows system administration
3+ years of experience as a sales engineer or equivalent supporting enterprise accounts
1+ year(s) of experience working with virtualization technologies, or a VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Familiarity with the solution selling process in the enterprise software market
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills
Good customer-facing skills, especially with C-level executives
Knowledge of networking and complex software integration
Willingness to travel up to 50%, following Red Hat s COVID-19 guidelines
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) certification is a plus
Knowledge of Gluster, Ceph, Red Hat Storage, and Red Hat OpenStack Platform is a plus
