Senior Trainer - Analytics & Data Science

Job Description

Role OverviewWe are looking for a trainer who can teach analytics, Python, SQL, statistics, and SAS to university students and corporate learners. The role focuses on clear instruction, practical examples, and consistent learner support.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Delivery
• Conduct classroom and online sessions on analytics fundamentals, Python, SQL, statistics, and SAS.
• Lead live coding, demonstrations, and guided practice sessions.
• Adapt teaching methods for students and working professionals.
Curriculum & Content Development
• Prepare and update training material, lab exercises, and assessments.
• Align content with academic requirements and industry practices.
• Map Python-based concepts to SAS during instruction.
Learner Evaluation & Support
• Review assignments, quizzes, and project work.
• Provide doubt-resolution sessions and learning guidance.
• Share learner progress reports with academic or corporate teams.
Collaboration
• Coordinate with university faculty, training managers, and placement teams for schedules and feedback.
• Participate in orientations, demos, and related activities.
• Maintain professional conduct and timely communication.
Continuous Development
• Stay informed about new tools and analytics trends.
• Complete internal SAS training to build platform expertise.
• Suggest improvements to teaching methods and training materials.
Required QualificationsEducation
• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields.
Technical Skills
• Good working knowledge of Python (core concepts, functions, pandas/NumPy).
• Understanding of SQL queries and data handling.
• Foundation in statistics and analytics.
• Willingness to learn SAS tools (training support provided).
Teaching & Communication
• Minimum 8 years of teaching, mentoring, or training experience (formal or informal).
• Ability to explain concepts in a structured and clear manner.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Exposure to SAS tools (SAS Studio, SAS OnDemand, etc.).
• Experience teaching in academic or corporate environments.
• Awareness of BI/visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience designing lab exercises or project-based tasks.
Travel Requirement: Open to travel within India for training assignments
