Job Description

    As an EV Technician at Vecmocon, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults in EV 2W & 3W vehicles. Your responsibilities will include performing routine maintenance tasks such as brake checks, suspension checks, and hub motor inspections. You will work on various components including battery systems, BMS, controllers, converters, chargers, and wiring harnesses.Your role will also involve calibrating and configuring components like throttle, display, and sensors, as well as conducting battery health checks and replacements when necessary. It will be essential for you to update service records, job cards, and feedback in the system accurately. In case of on-site breakdown service requirements, you will be expected to respond promptly and efficiently.Maintaining the tools and diagnostic equipment properly will be part of your daily routine, along with adhering to safety and cleanliness protocols in the workshop. You will collaborate with the service manager or customer support team to address technical issues effectively. Additionally, supporting Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and retrofitting tasks will also be a part of your responsibilities.To excel in this role, you should possess an ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automobile Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in EV or automotive service, preferably in 2W/3W vehicles. Knowledge of EV powertrain components and a basic understanding of CAN-based diagnostic tools will be advantageous. Proficiency in reading circuit diagrams and technical manuals, along with good communication and customer handling skills, are essential requirements.
