Job Description

    As an EV Technician at Vecmocon, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing electrical and mechanical faults in EV 2W & 3W vehicles. Your responsibilities will include:- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as brake checks, suspension checks, and hub motor inspections.- Working on various components including battery systems, BMS, controllers, converters, chargers, and wiring harnesses.- Calibrating and configuring components like throttle, display, and sensors.- Conducting battery health checks and replacements when necessary.- Updating service records, job cards, and feedback accurately.- Responding promptly and efficiently to on-site breakdown service requirements.- Maintaining tools and diagnostic equipment properly.- Adhering to safety and cleanliness protocols in the workshop.- Collaborating with the service manager or customer support team to address technical issues effectively.- Supporting Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and retrofitting tasks.To excel in this role, you should possess:- An ITI/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Automobile Engineering.- At least 3 years of experience in EV or automotive service, preferably in 2W/3W vehicles.- Knowledge of EV powertrain components and a basic understanding of CAN-based diagnostic tools.- Proficiency in reading circuit diagrams and technical manuals.- Good communication and customer handling skills.- Willingness to work in field service conditions.Vecmocon offers a competitive salary, performance incentives, and training on the latest EV technologies.
