Job Description

    • Collaborate with the buying team to evaluate and negotiate costs of labour, stones, and plating used in silver jewellery production.
    • Analyse and benchmark manufacturing costs to identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality.
    • Provide expertise on various plating types (e.g., rhodium, gold, rose gold, e-coating) to enhance product durability and aesthetics cost-effectively.
    • Identify and recommend alternative materials, techniques, or processes to maintain product quality at competitive prices.
    • Conduct regular factory visits and quality checks to ensure production standards are met.
    • Build strong relationships with manufacturers and vendors to foster better negotiations and partnerships.
    • Optimize and fix silver prices to reduce the average silver cost for the company.
    • Review all invoices received from vendors to verify charges, identify discrepancies, and address any cost or silver rate issues.
