Seamless communication with agents I customers on a day to day basis with regard to shipments. Mails should be ackledged immediately on receipt of the same and reply within time zone and there should not be any reminders from any of the agent I customer interacting with shipping lines day to day basis for shipment updates. To send regular reports to HQ as per SOP for specific nominations as required by head office within time frame . Especially for accounts such as OTX - Holland. Error report , cargo tracking report to be sent to Manager - Key accounts on regular basis. To liase with shippers , CHAs , shipping line and vendors on day to day basis for smooth execution of shipments. Customer service should Support sales with sharp rates and with prompt feedback from agents and overseas office in a timely manner. So that sales can quote to the customer within the time frame. Tracking of shipment from the time it departs origin till it reaches destination and updating agents I customers time to time. Ensure to give proper handover of jobs and pending shipment status to the backup staff before going on leave. To release BL within 5 days from the date of the vessel sailing and pre - alert to be sent within 7 days from date of vessel sailing except shipments to Colombo and far - east. For Colombo the BL release and pre alert needs to be sent on the same day of vessel sailing , whereas for Far East BL release and pre - alert has to be sent within 3 days. To keep product heads posted with important informations received from shippers , customs , market , vendors and trade. To have complete information on files for weekly meeting with product heads. To support product heads with complete information on hand on files , operations , new business , sales leads and market information to share for the Biweekly meeting conducted by the Head of products To have complete details on hand for exceptional report for score card during monthly meeting cum 2nd Bl weekly meeting. Before execution of any new sales business , to ensure that the CAF is in place. Qualification: MBA / Graduate Experience: Approx. 8 - 10 Years experience from similar trade,
