Group is currently hiring for one of the Manufacturing Steel Wire Industries located in MumbaiJob Details are as follows:-Designation: Deputy Manager PurchaseLocation: ChalisgaonExperience: 10-yearsSalary Range: 8,5.lpaJob DescriptionProcurement of Raw Materials:Source and purchase sheet metal, metal components, and other required materials.Ensure the quality and quantity of materials meet production requirements.Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand material needs.Supplier Management:Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers for sheet metal and related products.Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and develop new relationships to ensure competitive pricing and supply reliability.Conduct periodic supplier performance evaluations.Negotiation:Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers to optimize costs without compromising quality.Establish long-term agreements with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement strategies.Inventory Management:Monitor sheet metal and other materials inventory levelsto prevent stockouts or overstocking.Work closely with warehouse and production departments to ensure smooth flow of materials.Implement and improve inventory management practices.Cost Management & Budgeting:Monitor and control procurement expenses in line with the companys budget.Provide regular reports on cost-saving initiatives and procurement performance.Order Processing & Documentation:Process purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.Maintain accurate procurement records, including contracts, supplier agreements, and delivery documents.Compliance & Quality Control:Ensure all purchased materials meet the companys quality standards and industry regulations.Work with the quality control team to address any issues with materials received.Market Research:Stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new suppliers.Conduct market research to identify alternative materials or suppliers that can improve cost-efficiency.Thanks & Regardson Email Id - hidden_emailWith their current CTC, expected CTC and Notice PeriodRegards
