Job Description

    Job SummaryThe Zonal Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth, profitability, market expansion, customer satisfaction, and team performance within the assigned territory. The role requires strategic planning, business development, key account management, team leadership, and strong collaboration with OEM partners to achieve organizational objectives.Key Responsibilities
    1. Revenue & Profitability Management
    • Achieve assigned sales revenue and gross margin targets for the zone.
    • Develop and execute business plans to drive sustainable growth.
    • Monitor monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance.
    • Ensure profitability through effective cost management and business planning.
    • Prepare sales forecasts and budget projections.
    1. Business Development
    • Identify and acquire new customers and business opportunities.
    • Expand business with existing customers through cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
    • Develop and implement market penetration strategies.
    • Monitor industry trends, competition, and emerging market opportunities.
    • Drive growth across assigned territories and industry verticals.
    1. Customer Relationship Management
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Resolve customer escalations and business issues in a timely manner.
    • Conduct regular customer visits and business reviews.
    • Strengthen long-term partnerships with strategic accounts.
    1. Team Leadership & Performance Management
    • Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional sales team.
    • Set performance objectives and monitor achievement against targets.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.
    • Drive employee engagement, productivity, and retention.
    • Foster a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
    1. Training & Development
    • Identify training needs and facilitate skill development programs.
    • Conduct product, sales, and market knowledge sessions for team members.
    • Ensure continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
    • Promote sharing of best practices across regions.
    1. Business Reviews & Reporting
    • Conduct regular business review meetings with internal stakeholders.
    • Analyze sales performance, pipeline health, and market opportunities.
    • Prepare and present MIS reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations.
    • Implement corrective actions to address performance gaps.
    1. OEM & Partner Management
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEM partners and vendors.
    • Collaborate with OEMs to identify business growth opportunities.
    • Ensure alignment of sales strategies with OEM initiatives.
    • Coordinate joint customer engagements and business development activities.
    Experience
    • 8-15 years of experience in B2B Sales, Business Development, or Channel Management.
    • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role managing regional or zonal sales teams.
    • Experience in Industrial Automation, AIDC, RFID, Barcode Solutions, IT Hardware, Enterprise Solutions, or related industries preferred.
    • Working knowledge of RFID technology, RFID-based solutions, and related business applications will be preferred.
