Job Description

    Job descriptionCandidates from water treatment / Water waste treatment will be PreferredJob Location: Dibrugarh, AssamRoles and Responsibilities:
    • Develop and implement purchasing strategies.
    • Identify potential suppliers to secure cost-effective sources.
    • Establish and maintain good relationship with suppliers to negotiate for the best terms.
    • Monitor supplier performance in terms of on-time delivery, quality and cost.
    • Establish key performance measurements to evaluate the purchasing process.
    • Ensure material purchased is in accordance to specifications, including quality, delivery timeline and terms & conditions.
    • Support costing activities in the tender stage and follow through in the execution phase.
    • Coordinate with project personnel on project procurement activities.
    • Draft and review purchase contracts to ensure relevance to market trends.
    • Prepare monthly status reports for management review.
    Requirements
    • Award contracts in accordance with purchasing best practices.
    • Coordinate local and overseas delivery.
    • Generate monthly purchasing report for management.
    • Initiate and lead cost saving initiatives.
    • Liaise with local and overseas suppliers.
    • Maintain and update the approved supplier list.
    • Source, evaluate and qualify suppliers.
    • Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
