Job Description

As a Music Teacher, your role will involve teaching music courses to students, focusing on voice, tone, tempo, and rhythm skills. You will be responsible for training, rehearsing, and leading students in both school and community musical programs in adherence to the regulations set by the Board of Education. Developing and maintaining an effective music educational program for students will be a key aspect of your responsibilities.Your daily tasks will include scheduling classes to instruct and rehearse within the allocated time, understanding the individual potentials and skills of each student, and providing guidance tailored to their abilities. You will evaluate student performance, offer feedback, and assistance to enhance their musical skills, while also maintaining lesson plans and instructional materials.Furthermore, recommending maintenance and repairs for musical instruments, upholding student behavioral standards during group activities, and collaborating with the school administration to organize musical programs are integral parts of your role. Monitoring students in various settings, maintaining a safe and constructive learning environment, and participating in curriculum development programs and faculty committees are also expected.To excel in this position, you should possess a good sense of music, in-depth musical knowledge, a passion for teaching and guiding students, enthusiasm, and patience. Effective classroom management skills and the ability to stay productive throughout each music lesson are essential. The qualifications required include a Graduation or Post Graduation in Music along with a B.Ed degree, while a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.The offered salary ranges from 12000 to 20000 per month based on experience, and the position is full-time with benefits such as paid sick time, paid time off, and Provident Fund.
