Job Description

    As an Assistant Finance Manager cum Company Secretary, your role involves ensuring sound financial management and maintaining the highest standards of corporate governance and compliance. You will oversee the companys accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting processes, while ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.**Key Responsibilities:**- **Financial Management**- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations for accuracy and integrity of financial statements.- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports following Ind AS / IFRS standards.- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for strategic planning.- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and treasury functions for financial stability.- Manage internal controls, financial processes, and ensure adherence to company policies.- **Company Secretarial & Compliance**- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, SEBI Regulations, FEMA, and other statutory frameworks.- Organize and conduct Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, and General Meetings.- Maintain statutory registers, records, and filings with regulatory authorities.- Review agreements, contracts, and corporate documentation to safeguard legal interests.- Advise on corporate governance best practices and ethical standards.- **Strategic and Operational Support**- Provide financial insights for strategic decision-making and business planning.- Support merger, acquisition, or restructuring activities.- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives.- Contribute to policy formulation and internal control enhancement.**Qualifications and Experience:**- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) and Company Secretary (CS) with 5-7 years of relevant experience.- Sound knowledge of corporate laws, taxation, financial reporting standards, and statutory compliance.- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Tally) and advanced MS Excel skills.- Strong understanding of governance practices, risk management, and board-level reporting.**Key Competencies:**- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.- High integrity, attention to detail, and confidentiality.- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.- Collaborative approach with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.This position requires a blend of strategic financial acumen and a deep understanding of corporate law to support management in decision-making, governance, and long-term business growth.
