Job Description

    As an Area Sales Manager in the Large Home Appliances sector, your role will be crucial in driving sales growth and expanding market presence within Tamil Nadu. Here is what you can expect in this position:Role Overview:- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve the companys sales goals and objectives within the assigned area.- Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, offering guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.- Identify and establish new business opportunities, partnerships, and distributor networks to enhance market presence.- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients to ensure long-term loyalty and satisfaction.- Monitor sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities and enhance business performance.- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management.- Manage the budget for the area, optimizing resource allocation to maximize profitability.- Ensure sales team compliance with company policies, standards, and procedures.- Stay updated on industry developments and competitive activities to support strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy.- Lead and manage a team of sales representatives.- Identify and establish new business opportunities.- On-board new Dealers and Distributors in the same segment.- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients.- Monitor sales data and market trends.- Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts.- Manage the budget for the area.- Ensure sales team compliance with company policies.- Stay updated on industry developments and competitive activities.Qualifications and Requirements:- Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.- 4-10 years of progressive sales experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.- Strong leadership and team management skills.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.- Analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to develop and implement effective sales plans.- Experience in the LED TV, Washing machine, Air conditioner, Refrigerator market segment.Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance and provident fund. The work schedule is during the day shift, and you may be eligible for performance bonuses on a quarterly and yearly basis.
