• Deliver packages to customers
• Verify recipients details
• Update delivery status
• Accept payments
• Maintain transaction records
• Ensure proper handling of the delivery vehicle
• Adhere to traffic rules
• Address customer queries and complaints
• Check for discrepancies in packages
• Obtain the recipients signature
Requirements
• Valid drivers license and clean driving record
• Good sense of direction
• Ability to manage time effectively
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiarity with local addresses, streets, and routes
• Ability to organize tasks efficiently and multitask
• Problem-solving skills
• Analytical and critical thinking
Other duties
• Load and unload packages
• Inspect and maintain the delivery vehicle
• Ensure that all packages are delivered safely and accurately
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and pickups
• Report any suspicious or damaged packages to the supervisor
