Job Description

    As a Field Purchase Executive at Vaighai Agro Products Limited, your primary responsibility will be to handle the procurement process for 5 kg coco peat blocks. You will be tasked with identifying and developing relationships with reliable suppliers, evaluating them based on various criteria such as product quality, pricing, and environmental sustainability. Conducting supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and industry regulations will also be a part of your role.Your negotiation skills will be crucial as you will be required to negotiate terms, prices, and contracts with suppliers to secure the best deals while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies. Managing contract renewals and amendments as necessary will also fall under your purview.Collaboration with the quality assurance team will be essential to ensure that the coco peat blocks meet the required specifications and standards. Addressing any quality issues or discrepancies with suppliers promptly and effectively will be key to maintaining product quality.In terms of supply chain management, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing the supply chain for coco peat blocks to ensure timely delivery and minimal disruption. Keeping accurate records of inventory, orders, and shipments will be necessary. Additionally, working closely with logistics and warehousing teams to optimize storage and distribution processes will be part of your daily tasks.This is a full-time position based in Avinashipalayam, and the ideal candidate should have at least a Higher Secondary (12th Pass) education with a preference for 1 year of relevant work experience. Proficiency in Hindi and a valid Driving Licence are preferred qualifications for this role.
