Job Description

    As a Procurement Coordinator in the steel industry, your role will involve maintaining material trackers for all projects on a daily basis. You will be responsible for coordinating and documenting internal and external customer requirements. Identifying sources of supply and demand variations, along with addressing any issues in the work process, will be part of your key responsibilities. Communication of risks and issues, conducting source selections, negotiations, and enforcing contract terms and conditions will also fall under your purview.Key Responsibilities:- Maintaining material trackers for all projects on a daily basis- Coordinating and documenting internal and external customer requirements- Identifying sources of supply/demand variation and addressing issues in the work process- Communicating risks and issues effectively- Conducting source selections, negotiations, and enforcing contract terms and conditions- Developing and implementing contract negotiation strategies for indirect procurement- Managing vendor performance, financial health, and capacity to deliver products and services- Evaluating supplier proposals based on cost, lead time, quality, and risk- Preparing and executing negotiated contractual documents and agreements- Initiating supplier improvement activities and integrating results into contracting strategies- Maintaining records of materials sent to site and handling correspondence independentlyQualification Required:- Work Experience: 4-7 years- Educational Qualification: Diploma/BE Mechanical or equivalent- Knowledge in the steel industry- Male candidates are preferredAdditional Details: - Work Location: SIPCOT, Perundurai- Contact HR: hidden_mobile- Job Type: Full-time- Benefits: Provident Fund- Schedule: Day shift- Ability to commute/relocate: Erode, Tamil Nadu; Relocation with an employer-provided package preferred- Experience: 2 years in related field required- Language: English, Hindi, Tamil required- Work Location: In personFeel free to reach out to the HR contact provided for further details or to apply for this full-time position in the steel industry.,
