Job Description

As a Procurement Officer at our company, your role involves maintaining a material tracker on a daily basis for all projects. You will be responsible for coordinating and documenting internal and external customer requirements. Identifying sources of supply/demand variation, problems, and maintaining priorities for in-work processes are crucial aspects of your job. You will need to communicate effectively to report risks and issues, conduct source selections, negotiations, and document purchase contracts/contract changes. Enforcing contract terms and conditions, developing contract negotiation strategies for indirect procurement, and managing vendor performance and financial health will be part of your responsibilities. Evaluating supplier proposals for cost, lead time, quality, and risk, preparing and executing negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements, as well as initiating supplier improvement activities are key tasks.
