Job Description

    As a Quality Assurance Manager (QAM) for our textile manufacturing company, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in garment construction, particularly focusing on shirts. With a B.Tech / BE or Diploma in Textile or any relevant degree and 4 to 5 years of experience, you will utilize your expertise to drive quality control techniques, attention to detail, and analytical skills to maintain impeccable product quality.Your role will involve a deep understanding of fabric properties, quality standards in stitching, finishing, and overall appearance. Proficiency in quality control methods such as AQL standards will be crucial for identifying defects, root causes, and implementing corrective actions. Your keen attention to detail will enable you to spot minor flaws, ensure consistency, and uphold stringent quality criteria throughout the production process.Utilizing your analytical skills, you will analyze production data, defect patterns, and performance metrics to facilitate quality improvements. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methods will be essential for enhancing product quality and minimizing defects. Your leadership abilities will be instrumental in managing quality inspectors, training staff on quality standards, and instilling a culture of quality across the production floor.Quick problem-solving skills will enable you to address quality issues, develop effective solutions, and implement corrective actions in real-time. Clear communication skills will be necessary for conveying quality requirements to production teams, documenting findings, and reporting to upper management. Your knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance will ensure that all products meet legal and safety requirements.Effective time management will be crucial for overseeing quality checks at various production stages, ensuring timely inspections, and reporting. Prior experience in woven textiles is a must for this role.
